Liam is a certified member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors, representing the London College of Music, with a wealth of teaching experience spanning several years. From 2007 to 2010, he served as the principal instructor at both the Inverurie and Huntly Schools of Music.

Liam’s dedication to music education extended to various community centers across the Aberdeen area, notably at the Inchgarth Community Centre, where he received recognition with an MV award presented by John Swinney, the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth of Scotland.

In 2017, Liam ventured into his own successful enterprise, establishing “Amped Up Guitar School,” from 2016-2018 doubling as a music shop in collaboration with the renowned Rotosound guitar strings brand. His teaching territory encompassed Aberdeenshire and Moray, characterized by a personalized instructional approach that swiftly develops tailored skills for each client.

Liam’s expertise encompasses a wide spectrum of musical genres, from Rock and Blues to Classical and Jazz, and he is proficient in various guitar styles, including Classical, Acoustic, Slide, and Electric. Leveraging this extensive background, he now offers personalized one-to-one guitar tuition online through platforms such as WhatsApp, Zoom, or Skype. This modern approach allows students to benefit from tailored guidance and feedback, all from the comfort of their own homes.

Moreover, Liam also provides the option for face-to-face engagements through his collaboration with Musical Vision in Aberdeen, an esteemed official Rockschool Exam Centre. This additional offering enhances the flexibility of his teaching services, catering to diverse preferences and learning styles.
